Jose Iginio Dominguez, resdiednt of Chamita died Wednesday, September 4, at home after a lengthy illness. Preceding him in death is his wife, Mary S Dominguez, son, Chris Dominguez, and parents, Juan N. Dominguez and Rosalia T. Luna. Jose is survived by his two daughters, Jean Ann Dominguez from Rio Rancho and Rosemarie and husband Leroy Valdez from Chamita. Grandchildren include Chris and John Gallegos, Rio Rancho; Barbara and husband David Martinez, Oregon; Margaret and husband Johnny Whetsell, Rio Rancho; Mathew and wife, Rosemarie Valdez, Ojo Caliente; Amy and husband Tony Baros, Albuquerque; Krista and husband Wesley Salazar, Albuquerque. He is also survived by a sister, Lusita Sanchez, Penasco and daughter in law, Bettina Keek, Albuquerque. Great grandchildren include, Christopher and Jay Gallegos; Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth and Johnny Whetsell; Gabriella, Aaron, and David Martinez; Samantha, Kayla Valdez, Isaiah, and Larry Valdez; Ezequiel, Eli, Baby girl Baros and Michaela Salazar. A celebration of his life will be held at The Espanola Valley Bi-lingual Seventh Day Adventist Church.
