I did not know of Abran's condition and I can only find consolation in that he is not suffering anymore, because he was always such a strong and active person. My deepest condolences to Debbie his wife y hermanos Arty, Gus and family. I wish I could have been there in person for the funeral. I am glad that I was able to catch up with Abran during our class reunion, he was a gracious host; very happy and a rightfully proud father. What I admired about Abran was that he could be the toughest, hardest hitting competitor on the football field and yet he also had the unique ability to be humorous at the right time and make us all laugh during some tough summer workouts that even the coaches had to laugh and ease up on us.
