Amanda Yvette Otero, 43, went to be with our heavenly father peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of August 13, 2022 in Estancia, New Mexico. Amanda was born on January 28, 1979 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Amanda was preceded in death by her loving mother Yvonne Martinez; Grandparents: Dennis and Frances Otero; Gabby and Carolina Martinez
Amanda is survived by her father Gerard Otero (Patricia Vigil); Two Son’s: Michael Gallegos (Denae) and Dante Gallegos; Sisters: Jolene Otero, Alyssa Otero and Maxine Otero (Sissy); Jerome and Loretta Gallegos (father and grandmother of her son’s); Aunts and Uncles: Yolanda Green (Jim), Barbara Otero; Tina Aragon (David), Darlene Lucero (Ron), Andy Martinez (Kathy); Cousins: Nicholas Griego, James Wesley Green, Jadon Mendoza, Sevin Vogele, Denise Aragon, Rachel Aragon, Jessica Aragon, Ronnie Lucero, Jr., Andrea Martinez, Andy Martinez, Jr. along with numerous special cousins and friends.
Amanda was a loving mother, sister, niece and friend. Amanda loved riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle with her dad and friends. She also enjoyed skiing, fishing, camping, hunting & being outdoors with her dad, son’s, family, friends & her dog Diego. Our beautiful Amanda will be greatly missed and forever cherished.
Services for Amanda will take place on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel of Light, Santa Fe NM.
A private family burial will take place at a later date where she will be united with her mother Yvonne Martinez.
