Arturo Madrid, 88, of Arroyo Seco passed away on January 03, 2023 at the Taos Living Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Casimira and Melquiades Madrid, brothers and sisters, Casilda and Jose H. Martinez, Remigio and Mary Madrid, Eliza and Maximino Martinez, Ramon and Dora Madrid, brother in law, Pat Esparsen, and special friend Marie Sisneros. He is survived by his brother, Eraclio Madrid (Marcia), sister, Placida Esparsen and numerous nieces and nephews. Arturo worked for many years at The Pueblo Alegre Mall and Taos Wal Mart from where he retired. After retirement he moved into the Taos Living Center in 2015 where he spent the rest of his days. He was part of the Catholic Community and enjoyed going to church with his mother.
At Arturo’s request his remains were cremated and services will be held at a later date.
