Belinda Carol Weldon Fairchild

Belinda Carol Weldon Fairchild peacefully made her journey to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on December 14, 2021. Belinda is survived by her husband Les Fairchild, Sr. of Medanales, New Mexico, her daughter Lori Drab and husband Steve of Castle Rock, Colorado, her son Lester Fairchild, Jr. and wife Bobbie of Galveston, Texas. Belinda is also survived by her grandchildren Madison and Alyssa of Castle Rock, Colorado, Justin and Megan of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Shelbie of Galveston, Texas, and great granddaughter Ashley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Belinda was preceded in death by her parents Carolyn and Clyde Weldon and grandson Connor Ian Fairchild. Belinda is also survived by her sister Debra Carlson of Columbia, South Carolina, her brothers Robert Weldon of Opelika, Alabama and Tad Weldon of Eclectic, Alabama.

Belinda was born on May 3, 1950 in Opelika, Alabama to Carolyn and Clyde Weldon.

In her teen years she was crowned Safety Queen and enjoyed caring for her younger siblings. Later she went on to love and raise pugs, raising turtles, water skiing, camping, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  Belinda was very involved with her kid’s schools and activities. She was also a very proud Auburn University fan!!  She touched the lives of many and will forever be missed. 

A family gathering will take place on December 26, 2021.
