Betty E. Gonzales was welcomed into paradise by her beautiful family that went to prepare a place for her on June 5th, 2022. Betty was born to Ross and Frances Herrera on April 20th, 1951. Betty loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. She loved spending time with her family in the mountains or just sitting and telling stories. Betty was a natural caregiver. She ensured that her family always had what they needed. Betty was a caregiver of many in the Espanola Valley while she was employed by Ideal Home Care.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Ross and Frances Herrera, husband Walter Gonzales, sister Margaret Trujillo, brother in law Cristobal Trujillo and nephew Damian Trujillo.
Betty is survived by her son Anthony (Jennifer) Gonzales, daughters Annabelle (Gabriel) Vigil and Bernadette (Eddie) Gonzales, grandchildren Esperanza, Anjelika, Anthony Jr, David, Christian, Michael, Megan, Joshua and Abigail, niece Christella Trujillo and many other friends and relatives. A private service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the personnel at Presbyterian Hospice and Rivera Funeral Home and Crematory.
