Difficult to believe that my dear Aunt Carmen is no longer physically with us. She has been a fixture in my life since the day I was born. She listened to me, laughed & cried with me and was a good friend.
Carmen loved to entertain and was always planning her next gathering of friends or family. She believed there was always room for one more plate at the table. She was a generous soul and was always sending little care packages or notes to let people know she was thinking about them.
She loved her family; Her grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and Rey. She loved New Mexico; her sanctuary.
There is a sad spot in my heart at her passing but a promise from the Lord that I’ll see her again in his heavenly kingdom.

There can be no doubt that Carmen leaves a big hole in many lives. She was a great sister, a loyal friend and she will be missed. Over the years we remained close and she was always a phone call away - I will miss that. Carmen was an angel - she is now with the angels.
