Cora M. Rael, 97, of Questa passed away on October 01, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jose Selimo Rael and Alfonso Rael, son, Selimo C. Rael Jr., parents, Eliseo and Lupita Miera, siblings Felix Miera, Raul Miera, Margaret Romero, Rose Peterson, Eliseo Miera Jr. and Palemon Miera. She is survived by her daughter, Dianna Rael-Trujillo (Stephen), daughter-in-law, Kathy Rael, grandchildren, Vincent Gonzales, (Les), Debra Jackson (Blaine), Melissa Hill (Bruce) , Jeff Gonzales (Darlene) , John Paul Rael (Teresa), Chere With (Tim), numerous great and great great grandchildren, many loving relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held. Pallbearers will be John Paul Rael, Les Winter, Bruce Hill, Blaine Jackson, Tyler Hagman and Tim With. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Gonzales and Stephen Trujillo.

I was blessed to be in Cora’s (mom’s) life for 55 years. Cora lived her life committed to her family. She loved her children, Selimo and Dianna, greatly and she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and she lived her faith honestly. She made the best tortillas, hands down! Her red chile was delicious, her pot roasts tender and mouth watering and we all loved her home made cakes. We will carry on her delicious Thanksgiving recipes for always. Cora was a strong, dignified lady and she showed us all how to live and love life fully. She remains in my heart forever. ❤️ Kathy
