Gail Stevens published a tribute .

To the family of Popolo,

Our parents were very good friends when we all lived in Los Angeles. As a child,I particularly loved seeing Popolo. He was known to me as "the money man". When he would shake hands with me, he would ALWAYS reach in his pocket, shake my hand and hand me change. This "exchange" impressed me as a child and I still remember it to this day.

My thoughts are with you. Please know that your father is remembered.
