Deluvina Gallegos-Archuleta
On June 21, 2019, at 7:45am, our beloved Deluvina Gallegos-Archuleta went to be with our Lord in Heaven. She was born in Vallecitos,NM, on April 29,1923, to Bersabe and Leandro Gallegos Sr. She was a long-time resident of Vallecitos, N.M. before moving to Espanola, N.M. for the latter part of her life.
Deluvina was a loving wife, mother, sister, grand-mother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt and a faithful friend to many. Deluvina enjoyed camping, fishing, baking, crocheting, dancing, and praying. She adored her family and loved family unity. She also enjoyed a good home-cooked hispanic meal with her family whenever possible.
Deluvina is survived by her brother, Anselmo Gallegos (Lucille) and her sisters: Anita Martinez, Fidelia Jaramillo, Ayola Ocana, Elevinia Salazar (Alex). She is also survived by her three children: Dolores Lopez (Bobby), Raymond Archuleta (Cindy), and Jennifer Henderson (Daniel) her grandchildren: Frances Deluvina Lopez, Estrella Lopez (Bernardo Jr), Raylene Godsey (Manny), Robert Lopez Jr., Jimmy Archuleta, Jennica Maestas(Angelo), Jacob Maestas (TJ), her great grandchildren: Kristyana Cordova, Bernardo Jaramillo lll, Cruzita Cordova, Diego Jaramillo, Viridiana Paredes, and her great, great grandchildren: Jayden Romero, Analiyah Lopez, Enrique Trujillo, and Baby Girl Godsey.
Deluvina is preceded in death by her parents, Leandro Sr and Bersabe Gallegos, siblings Juan Gallegos Sr., Leandro Gallegos Jr., Magdalena Chavez, Olympia Vasquez, Bertha Martinez, and Lucas Gallegos. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose B. Archuleta.
Serving the Family as Pallbearers will be Valentin Gallegos, Felipe Gallegos, Jerry Vasquez, Antonio Jaramillo, Johnny Martinez, Sammy Chavez, Stevan Trujillo, Richard Gallegos, Freddie Ocana and Joseph Salazar.
A public viewing will be held on Monday June 24, 2019, at 6:00 pm, at Rivera’s Funeral Home 305 Calle Salazar Espanoal, NM and a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, following the viewing. A Catholic mass will be held on June 25, 2019, at 11:00 am, at Santa Cruz de la Canada Church. Burial to follow in Vallecitos, N.M.
