Eva C. Martinez, 85, formerly of Valdez, passed away December 26, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Arabella Apodaca and sister, Linda Apodaca Trujillo. She is survived by her children, Pete Larry Martinez (Ruby), Debra Tafoya (Felipe) and Arabella Vazquez (Don), grandchildren, Santana Storey (Jake), Veronica Montoya (Nathan), Antonio Tafoya and Alexander Vazquez, great grandchildren, Vicente and Tila Storey, Analia, Ariana and Amaya Montoya, siblings, Melecio Apodaca (Rosina) and Gloria Garcia (+ Floyd) and many other relatives and friends.
Rosary will be recited on Wednesday January 18, 2023 at 6 PM at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity in Arroyo Seco with interment to follow at the San Antonio Cemetery in Valdez.
