Federico Martinez, 79, of Taos passed away on December 5, 2019. He is preceded in death by his wife, Aurora “Weda” Martinez, parents, Alfred and Flora Martinez, grandmother, Carlotta Mares and brother, Arthur Martinez. He is survived by his children, A. Anthony Martinez (Christine), Ivan Martinez (Alexandra) and Delilah Martinez, grandchildren, Nicole Romero (Robert), Cameron Martinez, Alexa Romero, Aleya Romero, Ivan Martinez Jr., Matias Martinez, Brittany and Brianna, Paul Fernandez, Antonio Fernandez, Raeylynn Fernandez, Lily Rae Cortez, sister, Louise Martinez (Charles), aunts, Celina Salazar and Caroline “Canke” Vigil, many other relatives and friends.

We, the Staff and Board of TCEDC are so sorry to hear of his passing, Fred was was one of the first people to bring his food business to the market through our Taos Food Center. He was always smiling, generous and ready to help when asked. People quickly depended on their "Antonio's Salsa" fix each week. Condolences to his family and many friends.
