She met Charles Roybal of Española when he was on leave from the Navy at at a downtown dancing club, and it wasn’t long before they were engaged to be married. They marked 54 years of marriage in November. She was a homemaker who made the best biscochitos and worked at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center in the nursery, where she took care of children while their parents worked out. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, George and Adelina Lujan, and her brothers, Eddie Lujan and Mere Sena. Becky: I am so sorry to hear about your mom. My deepest sympathy to your entire family. I have some great memories during high school and when I would see her at the store. She always spoke about her grandsons and loved them very much. Her family was her life and she loved all of you very much. If you need anything, please call. Take care of yourself and your Dad.
