Henry Maestas, 71 a resident of Ranchitos, NM passed away on April 19, 2023 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM after a brief illness.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents Waldo and Carlota Maestas, brothers Daniel Maestas and Pat Maestas, and sister Lorenza Sandoval, brother-in-law Elmer Velasquez and sister-in-law Erlinda Maestas.
Henry was a kind soul who was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his son Jerome Maestas, brothers Emery Maestas, Joseph Maestas, and Frank Maestas all of Ranchitos, Dennis Maestas of Arroyo Seco, sisters Martha Vigil (Frank) of El Rito, Sally Maestas of Denver, CO, Ida Vigil (Elfego) of Clovis and Mary Velasquez of Espanola, brother-in-law Raymond Sandoval of Arroyo Seco and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A rosary will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 1pm at Holy Cross Church (Santa Cruz, NM). Mass will also be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 1:30pm at Holy Cross Church (Santa Cruz, NM). Burial for Henry Maestas to follow mass at Holy Cross Church (Santa Cruz, NM).

My Condolences go out to all the family. My Uncle Henry was a good man since I moved didn’t get too see him much but when I did he was always smiling and very kind . He is in a much better place right now and can’t wait to see him again in Heaven.
