Iris Moore, 83, passed away on May 08, 2021 from this world and is now in heaven with the lord. She was born on December 21, 1937 in Guyana to Sookie Singh and Lalta Singh. She married Rudolph Moore in 1980 in Geo, Guyana.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Sookie Singh, father; Lalta Singh, husband; Rudolph Moore, sister; Irene Singh, husband; Arthur Forshaw and husband; Sonny Singh.
She is survived by her daughters; Mary Singh Kleiner and Jean Singh Grant, sons; David Singh and Ronald Singh, nephew/son; Rudolph Singh and son-in-law; Tom Kleiner.
Iris was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt… friend to many whom she met along the way in her journey. She shared many happy times with her family and three husbands.
She came to the USA in late 70s. Iris lived in NYC for 20 years. Before moving to Santa Fe, NM with her third husband Rudolph Moore in 1990.
She read her bible daily and would minister about the lord to everyone.
Iris was a simple and quiet lady, she had big dreams in her life, she loved to sing, dance, laugh and tell stories of her childhood memories.
Service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light.
