Jose “Ray” Mondragon Sr., 93, of Taos, passed away on November 24, 2020. He was born in Ranchos de Taos to Juan and Lucia Mondragon. He was a veteran of WWII and Korean Conflict and Boys Scout Master. He is preceded in death by his wife, Teodora Mondragon, parents, Juan and Lucia Mondragon, daughter, Helen Giordano, granddaughter, Michelle, brothers, Encarnicion and Lucia Mondragon, Ralph and Eliza Mondragon, sister, Pita and Macario Trujillo. He is survived by his children, Rudy, Ray Jr. (Catherine), Norma (Alfredo), Michael (Gary), John (Emi) and Rita (John), son in law, Greg, grandchildren, Anita and Ray III, Tanya, Thea and Serafin, Maria, Marco and Michael, great grandchildren, Damian, Zayden, Lara, Lyza and Natalia, sister in law, Lillian Anglada and many other relatives and friends. He was a prince amongst men and will always be remembered for his welcoming smile.

Louie and I send our sincere condolences to all the family. Your parents were wonderful people and very wonderful Primos. They had a good heart and always very friendly with everyone they met. I still miss them at the senior center where they were involved in I earlier years.
