Kathleen M. Duran, 70, resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away on June 29, 2021. She was born on May 29, 1951 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Beatrice and James Gonzales. She married Henry E Duran on November 28, 1970 in San Gabriel, California.
She is preceded in death by her sister; Becky (Nena) Gallegos, parents; James and Beatrice Gonzales, in -laws; Feliberto and Maria Duran, brother-in-law; Patrick Duran.
She is survived by her husband; Henry E Duran, sons; Gabriel and Matthew Duran, grandsons; Dominic and Carlos Duran, granddaughter; Lillyana M Duran, sisters; Carol and Ozzie Acosta and sister; Rita and Rito Cruz.
Kathleen passed away after fighting Multiple Sclerosis courageously for 3
Years. Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She would say because of the M.S. I can’t help a lot of people, but I can pray for them. Kathy would pray for her family, friends and anyone that needed prayers.
A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at San Isidro Catholic Church followed by mass at 10:3 a.m.
Interment will take place on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
