Dad it is almost four years since I have heard a compliment.You were alwys so complimentary no matter how bad I looked. I have never and will never forget you kind, caring heart. My Precious Father:
I cried for you today as I listened to a recording of a dear friends guitar music. The music playing I've played many times before but I never knew the title of the piece. Somehow through the tears I noticed the name, "A Deep Breath" and my small stream of tears was immediately replaced by a broken floodgate of emotion, as I remembered how labored your every breath became in your last hours.
I trust your breath is now as normal as it was on the day I asked you to take me fishing...alone! Remember the lake was a thick frozen blanket of ice and we found a melted hole to cast our lines into. We didn't catch any fish but I was happy just being near you...all alone. Remember how we started throwing rocks out onto the iced covered lake and turned it into a competition, to see who could throw the farthest. We laughed together, we fished together, we played together...alone!
Daddy thank you for making my wish come true on that very special day.

You will be missed but we know god was waiting patiently to take you home.I know you were tired of being sick. We feel so blessed to have you for as for as many years as god gave us with you. You were always such a hard worker. "I must follow in you footsteps" You are now our guardian angel in heaven. We love you dearly and your memories will remain with us the rest of our lives. Gramps,
It's so hard to believe your gone, it's just not the same without you at your house. You were always sitting in the chair and anyone who walked in could never get passed you without giving you a kiss. I'm sure going to miss those kisses. I know your in a better place now and you will no longer suffer. I have so many GREAT memories that when I look at your pictures I will always smile and remember the wonderful person you were and the great times we shared. Don't worry about Nana we will take good care of her, she has got to be the strongest woman I know. I love you so very much Gramps!!!
