Maria Z. Biddy (Also known as Lala, Zorr-Chavez, Martinez)
Maria was born in April of 1950 to Jose Patricio and Cruzita Chavez. Maria was a beautiful Godly woman, who provided a light to her family and friends, and everyone she met. She was so giving of herself, always willing to help and care for others, which made her a beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Maria was also known for providing laughter through her personality, innocent demeanor, and anecdotes bringing joy and smiles to everyone.
She loved adventures, the great
outdoors (4-wheeling, fishing, and swimming with barracuda's and wrestling alligators), and she enjoyed spending time with each and everyone of her grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
She went to her Heavenly Father on November 28, 2022, and will be greeted by her parents, brother Francisco Gilberto Chavez, and husband Tony J. Martinez. Grandchildren Sabrina and Mathew Martinez.
She is survived by her husband H.G. Biddy, her loving children and their families: Lloyd, his wife Michelle Martinez, children Kimberly, Christian, Cape, and Koplan; Priscilla, her husband Allen Tapia, children Sherice, Joshua and Zaneta; Gilbert Martinez, children Rozlyn, Naomi, Cierra, and Christopher. Brother Vincent Chavez and family. Sisters Erma Tabarez and family, and Josie Boyle and family. Cousin Dolores Garcia and family. Nephew Cristobal Chavez and family. And many other family and friends.
Maria’s Faith in the Lord, love, laughter, and genuine smile will be greatly missed by all she touched until we meet her in Heaven.
The services will take place December 09,2022 at 9 am located at Rivera Family Funeral Home in the beautiful Espanola valley. Burial at Santa Fe National Cemetary to follow at 11:30 am.

Our condolences to all of Maria's family. She was an amazing friend to our mother/ mother in law Karen Lujan. She would always take her to lunch no matter how hard it was and always checked on her to see how she was doing. Maria had a heart of gold and could not have been a better friend to her.

I am so sad to hear about Maria. I got to see her and talk with her one last time a few months ago when I ran into her in Rio Rancho. We talked for awhile and I am happy for that last interaction I had with her. She was smiling and seemed so happy.
My condolences to her family and friends.

My beautiful Auntie Maria, you are the strongest, most gentle and kind human being I have have ever known. Your support and love that you gave to everyone you came in contact with will FOREVER live on. I can still hear your voice and all of the amazing advice you offered, I can still hear you laugh and feel your warm hugs. Until I see you again, I will think of you and pray for you every day. I know my mom and you are together like two peas in a pod again! My love and condolences to the whole family. God bless.
