Maria Corrina Varela

Maria “Corrine” Varela, 75 joined her heavenly family Dec 31,2021. Maria was resident of Pecos, NM  and was the most amazing mother, wife, grandmother, great-grand mother, sister and friend. She was kind to everyone and quick to help those in need.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband Eloy Varela, Vigil, Father Elias Vigil, Mother Felipita, brother Gene Vigil, sister Dorothy Vigil, Brother Dennis (Eddie) Varela, son Christopher Montoya. She is survived by her two sons Arthur Montoya(Lora), Nathaniel Montoya(Louise), Grand children Ashley Zamora(Chad), Joshua Montoya, Natalia Montoya, Angel Montoya, Great-Grandchildren Johnny(JJ), Isaiah and Mateo; brothers and sisters Elias (Olympia), Lala(Ray), Phil(Velma), David, and Evelyn(Rodger) and others loving relatives and friends.

A private viewing will be held along with a Rosary; Family ask that you please pray the Rosary at home with your loved ones in her honor on Friday January 7th starting at 3:30pm. Maria will be cremated and  Burial and Mass will be held at a later date.
