Michael Padilla of El Llano, age 54, born on February 24, 1966 to Elizabeth C. Montoya and Tony R. Montoya, went to be with the lord on Monday November 30, 2020. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Padilla on December 1, 2020, father Tony R. Montoya and mother-in-law Odelia Duran.
Michael worked as a meat cutter for 15 years then went to work at Los Alamos National Laboratory for 15 more years.
Michael is survived by his wife of 29 years, Veronica Padilla, his son Shane Padilla and Denisha Lopez. Mother Elizabeth Montoya, very special sister Michelle & Steve Sandoval, sisters Margie Montoya and Carol. Nephew Eric Sandoval and Profie Garcia, niece Sarah Sandoval and Jose. Father-in-law Benjamin Duran, very special niece Janeen Vigil and Kevin Salazar; whom he considered like a daughter, sister-in-laws, Janet Vigil, Cindy & Rick Montoya of El Llano, Beverly and Lenny Martinez of Chimayo, Carolyn and Peter Lopez of Rio Chiquito, brother-in-law Eddie and Monica Duran of Los Alamos. Many special nieces, nephews and friends.

My condolences on the death of Michael and his son. Michael was a very nice person whom I got to know at Los Alamos National Lab and would see him at the store he and Veronica.
