Monica Valenzuela-Storey, 45 of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on November 15, 2020. Monica was born in Santa Fe, NM to Armando A. Valenzuela and Maria (Herrera) Valenzuela, both of Roswell, NM. Monica is preceded in death by her father, Armando A. Valenzuela, grandparents Armando O. Valenzuela, Elodia Valenzuela, and Emilia (Nana) Najar Herrera. Monica is survived by her son, Anthony (AJ) Valenzuela, mother, Maria Valenzuela, brother, Armando Valenzuela, brother-in-law, Glenn Tremblay, nephews, Isaiah Valenzuela and Zy’Aire Lewis, long-time partner, Leo Cordova, and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Monica was a loving, protective, and proud mom to AJ. She dedicated her life to the health, safety, and prosperity of AJ. It was her purpose in life, and she succeeded. She was a stunningly beautiful woman. While her outer beauty would capture your eyes, her inner beauty would capture your heart.
The family will host a virtual memorial service on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 1:00p (MST) and a Celebration of Life ceremony in the Spring at date to be determined.
