Naomi Mascarenas, 81, of El Valle passed away on January 10, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacobo and Elaisa Romero. She is survived by her husband, Clarence, children, Barb, David (Atira), Margie, Cindy (Pete), granddaughters, Lyndsay (Dave) and Kaleigh Flowers, great grandchildren, Haley, Dylan and Noah, brothers, Jake (Claudia), and Claude, sisters, Faby, Ruth, Lela (Doug), Fran (Russ) and many nieces and nephews. Naomi worked in service to others as a family liaison for the Colorado Migrant Education program and then as a CNA with Taos Holy Cross Hospital. She made beautiful quilts and tended a gorgeous rose garden. Her interests included the plight of Middle Eastern women and the children of Nepal. She was a faithful Seventh-day Adventist.
She will be missed by many who loved her.

Clarence and family: Sorry for the loss of Naomi. I got to know her really well when you guys moved from CO to El Valle and started attending the SDA Church in Dixon. She was always willing to help at the church and I will always remember her famous fruit salad for potucks. She also joined the small church choir and would always request to sing "Because He Lives".
May she rest in peace until that beautiful Resurrection Day when we shall see our loved ones.

My Dad ( Eli her brother-in law) and my family send our deepest condolences. We loved sweet ,beautiful Naomi. She always had sweet smiles and hugs to give us and knew just how to make you feel loved.
