Nazario Valdez, 79, a resident of Nambe, passed away peacefully in the arms of the Lord on February 5, 2021.
Nazario was preceded in death by his parents Rogelio and Petrita Valdez, great-grandson Leland Valdez, and sister Marylou E. and Irvin Stout.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was one of the friendliest people one could ever meet. Nazario touched many lives in the valley and surrounding areas, making many close friends. Nazario was a retiree from the State of New Mexico’s Taxation and Revenue department.
Nazario is survived by his loving wife Consuelo Valdez, son Edward (Yvonne) Valdez, daughter Sandra Valdez, grandsons Andrew (Angela) Valdez, Christopher Martinez, and Nicholas Martinez, great-grand daughter Alyssa Valdez, Teyanan Sedillo, great-grandsons Ryan Valdez, Andrew Valdez Jr., brother Manuel (Judy), Lipio (Fabie) sisters Lillian Soto, Olivia (Joe) Trujillo, Grace (Floencio) Romero, Martha (Andy) Daddio, Elizabeth (Sergio) Hernandez, father and mother-in-law Jose and Rose Ortiz, many loving brothers and sister-in-law’s, nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers are Christopher Martinez, Nicholas Martinez, Andrew Valdez, Joey Trujillo, Mathew Stout, and Florencio Romero Jr.
