Paul Eugene Chavez Sr, 70 Of Santa fe Was called home on Saturday September 5th 2020, Paul Sr. was born in Abiquiu, NM on August 27th 1950.
Paul Sr was a Amazing Father and Grandfather, he was a great friend and loved by many. His loved ones and friends shared his passion with him which was the love to ride and that gave him his greatest enjoyment. He will be truly missed.
Paul was also a great asset to District1199NM National Union Hospital and Health Care Employees since 2011 for Christus St. Vincent.Paul was very outspoken and cared for the employees and their rights. He made sure the people’s voices were heard and fought for better working condition. He then earned a position as Chapter President of S&M in 2013. He retired in 2018, District1199NM will truly miss him.
Paul is proceeded in death by his Mother Mary Lena Mabel Vigil also Sister Marylina Ruth Chavez.
He was survived by his children Paul E Chavez JR. , Ashley A Chavez and Travis A. Chavez, His Grandchildren. Also His brother, sisters, Neices and Nephews.
A Service will be held for immediate family on Friday Oct. 2nd , Immediately following at 3pm will be a Celebration of life at the F.O.P 3300 Calle Maria Luisa, Santa Fe, NM 87507 All are welcome to the celebration to remember and celebrate his life.

I was called by Paul. To hang out before he left on his bike ride. We became very close. He was my support friend for 4 years. The most caring and gentle person I know.
