It is with great sadness that the family of Ramon Garcia (91) announces his passing on Monday November 15, 2021. Ramon was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. Ramon loved the outdoors and activities, such as fishing and pinon picking with his children and grandchildren. He was a hard working family man who put the needs of others, especially family, above his own. His caring nature and charismatic personality is what all who knew him and loved him will remember him by.
Ramon is preceded in death by wife Rita Garcia and son Jerry Garcia.
He is survived by two brothers Pedro Garcia and Gilbert Garcia, son Ramon D. Garcia and daughters Mary Portillo, Beatrice Reyna, and Angela Valdez, grandchildren Gilbert Garcia, Danny Garcia, Rebecca Garcia, Eva Carrillo, Mary Garcia, Annette Leeth, Cruz Arrellano, Mirna Aguire, Juanita Rodriguez, Sharon Archuleta, Joseph Garcia, and Teynan Sedillo, as well as 25 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, NM on Friday November 19, 2021 at 12 PM. The Family of Ramon Garcia has entrusted the gentle care of their precious loved one to Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. Please share any memories, pictures, and condolences with the family.
