Ray was born January 28, 1950, to Urbano Jimenez + Juanita Jimenez. He was proceeded in death by his son Harold, Parents Urbano + Juanita C. Jimenez, Stepmother Juanita D. Jimenez, Aunt Rosina Contreras, Grandparents Margarito + Isidora Contreras, Father-in-law Manuel Romero + mother-in-law Lucy Romero.
Survived by his wife of 50 years Florence, Sons Gerald Jimenez/Jessica, Ronald Jimenez/Christine, grand children Isaac Jimenez/Miranda, Lyisa Jimenez, Justice Jimenez, Kylie Jimenez, great grand daughter Emelia Jimenez.
Sisters Linda Cisneros, Della Perez, Luis, Olivia Romero/Willie, Geraldine Jimenez/Luciano.
Brothers Marin Jimenez/Melissa, Steve Jimenez/Eileen.
Brother-in-law Gilbert Romero/Dorothy, Ted Romero, Ramon Romero/Antonette.
Sister-in law Dolores Romero Padilla/Mark, Veronica Vigil, Lorraine Trujillo/Julian, Marcella Tapia/David.
Many nephews and nieces.
Ray was a proud U.S. Marine Veteran, loved spending time with his sons, and grand children and all his friends. He loved singing and visiting with his friends at the VFW.
He also retired from Santa Fe Public Schools and served his community of Rio en Medio as foreman of the water association for many years.
Services will be held at Guadalupe Church in Santa Fe. Rosary on Thursday 11/17/2022 at 6:30 PM. Funeral mass on Friday 11/18/2022 at 11:00 AM and burial to follow immediately at the National Cemetery.
