Tomasita Martinez, 79, of Talpa passed away on November 2, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Martinez, parents, Jose Refugio and Juanita Hernandez, sister, Socorro Hernandez, brothers, Gonzalo, Joe, Conrad and Humberto Hernandez. She is survived by her children, Toni Marie Clark (Michael), Bernice Sandoval, Tony Martinez (Demaris) and Felipe Martinez (Lupe), 7 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, sisters, Lucy Miranda (George) and Paula Rodriguez, many other relatives and friends.
Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 6 PM at Rivera Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 11 AM at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. My condolences to the family of Tommie Martinez. I knew Tommie as a sweet, compassionate, warm , loving sweet and kind person. I had the privilege of knowing Tommie as a client at Taos County Senior Center on a daily basis her smile made my day. She was always in good spirits and happy, she participated in every activity at the center often times I would sit with Tommie in conversation I learned so much about her she loved her grandson as she spoke of him always. I am going to miss serving her coffee.Tommie made so many friends at the center with her kindness. She was loved dearly. Her presence will always fill our hearts with love. She will be missed. I pray for her daughter Toni and son in law Mike who played a significant part in my life as my medical attendants. Thank you both for allowing me to know and love Tommie. On behalf of myself, employees and the entire Taos County Senior Center. Our heart felt condolences.

My sincere condolence to the family of Tommie. She was my nurse during my surgery with Dr. Cohburn at Holy Cross Hospital.
