Augustine Harmon

Augustine J. Harmon, 83, of Ranchitos peacefully passed away on January 27, 2014. Augustine served in the Army National Guard. He was employed with the Taos Municipal Schools for 32 years as Supervisor Custodian of building and grounds. He was an avid outdoorsman, his passion was fly fishing and he loved to take his family on fishing trips every weekend. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Harmon, parents, Augustine and Amada Trujillo Harmon, brother, Elbert Harmon and sister, Grace Martinez. He is survived by his children, Diana Harmon of Taos, James Harmon (Debbie) of Manassa, CO, Jeanette Harmon-Vigil (Mark) of Santa Fe and Annette Suazo (Loren) of Taos, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a very close cousin, Albert Morgas and many other relatives and friends.

Evening service was held on January 29, 2014 at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Funeral service was held on January 30, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Taos. Interment followed at the Pacheco Cemetery.
