ISABEL JULIA PADILLA

Isabel Padilla, 85, passed away on December 21, 2018, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
She is preceded in death by her father Thomas de Aquino Vigil, mother Ana Maria Ascencion Vigil Martinez. The love of her life, Lorenzo (Larry) Padilla, her son Carl Padilla and brother Carl Vigil.
She is survived by her Sons Kenneth Long and wife Sandy, Lawrence Padilla and wife Kathi, Mario Padilla and wife Faye, Edward Padilla and many other family members and loved ones.
Isabel was dedicated to her, career, family and the community. She managed to raise five boys while pursuing her career and retiring from the State of New Mexico. Isabel was a proud baseball mother always helping out with local sports programs. We will never forget her charming personality and great sense of humor (she was so funny at times). Isabel will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.
Please join us for a celebration of her life with a mass at the Rosario Chapel in Santa Fe New Mexico on January 12th, 2019 at 11:00 am. The Rosario Chapel is located at 499 North Guadalupe St, Santa Fe New Mexico 87501 (in the Rosario Cemetery). Reception following mass from 1:00pm to 3:00pm venue to be announced.
