I worked with Madeline at DOH. I bought her book and a extra copy for my father-in-law Art Montoya from Agua Fria who is related to the Raels and Carrillos.

To all Madeline's family: I was sorry to hear of Madeline's passing. I met her only a year ago when I went to Bernalillo specifically to buy her book after the article in the New Mexican. She was most gracious. We were related on the Rael side through my mother. I enjoyed her book and had hoped to visit with her more but illnesses in my family kept me from doing so. I would be glad to visit with any of you if you wish to. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Marcia

Madeline I will miss you. remembering the time at work and our trips to San Antonio and Mexico for the US/Mexican Border Health Conference. It was both educational and enjoyable and it sealed our friendship. You will be in my prayers
