just wanted to send my condolences for my dads only brother hope he went in peace and will be in a better place god and the angels will be with him and he will be remembered in our hearts forever with his incredible wit and great musical ability

My late wife, June, and I always loved Chick Baby. He was always our true friend and gave us big hugs every time we saw him. He and June were dancing partners in skits with the Katz Pajamas back in the late 60s and early 70s, and we enjoyed jam sessions with Chick and others at Duane Gifford's house. He was a wonderful friend and always lots of fun. I am awfully sorry he is gone, but know he is spreading his love in God's Heaven.

Chick was such a blessing to me during a difficult time in my life and I counted him as one of my richest blessings. I just know he's now playing in the best jazz band ever!

Chick always had a smile for us all the many years we went to Tiny's to listen to the band. Sometimes even a dance or two. We will miss him dearly. From our family to yours, our hearts and prayers are with you.

What a guy. I am saddened by his passing.
First met in 1962 while working in the uranium shops - LASL
He was a machinist doing the presicion moves -
I was 18 yrs. old and he taught me some machining especially on the lathe.
We became friends -
Stories like when he was in competation to lose weight with other fellow workers determined to win at all costs- In came the Ex-lax - off went the weight he was crazy sometimes he did'nt win we all laughed!
He loved his family , his friends and his music!
I will always remember his ready smile and laughs with friendly inquries.

I am sorry to hear the news about Chick. What a great guy. Funny, friendly, just a real pleasure to be around. I enjoyed the years I worked with Chick in the machine shops at Lanl. Lots of fond memories of a great guy. He will be missed........Butch

We remember Chick's wonderful sense of humor and infectious laugh, not to mention his special musical talents. Always entertaining whether "on stage" or at our table, his memory will live on.
