James D. Perea

Our heavenly Angel was called home on December 9, 2016. James was born on Ma 24, 1952 in Santa Fe, N.M. James was a life long resident of Agua Fria Village. He was a hard worker and always willing to lend a helping hand. He had numerous jobs during his life time from Police Officer to mechanic to caretaker, but far most he loved coaching many sports. His main hobby was going to Camel Rock Casino. James is preceded in death by his loving wife Judy R. Perea, son Jerrold Perea, parents Ramon Perea Sr. and Rachel Perea, brothers Ramon Jr. Tony, Ralph Perea. A very special Uncle and Aunt tony, Luisa Garcia who he took care of. James is survived by his loving children James (Elizabeth), Jessica, and Jeremy (Amanda) Perea. His grandchildren Jessica (Jerad) and Aiden, God-daughter Paula Baca and Godson Johnny Archuleta, also a life long best friend Leonard Cde Vaca. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Cora Archuleta, numerous brothers, sisters, in-laws, many nieces, nephews, uncles & aunts.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. and Mass of Christian burial at 7 p.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church (center).
Interment will take place at Rosario cemetery on Friday, December 16th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
