My deepest sympathy to the family. Mr. Romero was a very kind person. I worked with both he and his wife, Rebecca at the Department of Human Services back in 1969.

Mr. Romero was a warm and gentle person. My family got to know this person 19 years ago when I asked him if I could use his parking lot to put up scaffolding to paint my mural on Cabot plaza. While painting this mural he told me stories of his experiences in Mexico and watching Diego Rivera paint murals. He went to JC Pennys and purchased a pair Pecheras for me because that is what Diego Rivera wore when he saw him painting. It was a gesture that made me feel very honored. I got to hear many stories of his interests and travels. He also did humanitarian work in Central America with his wife He loved his farming and ranching. Our warmest condolences to his loved ones and we are sorry for their loss. We will pray for him.
