Adelina Sanchez

Adelina Sanchez – Age 82 a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Monday, August 8, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernabel Sanchez in 1995; brothers; J.D. Martinez Sr., Jose Pat Martinez, Tony Martinez, C. Paul Martinez and Joe G. Martinez. She is survived by her brother, Augustine Martinez and wife Theresita of San Pedro; sister, Annie Urban of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law: Ruby Shirley of Santa Fe and Delia Martinez, Gen Martinez and Mae Martinez all of the Española area; and numerous nephews and nieces whom she loved like her own. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Santa Fe. Interment will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: J.D. Martinez Jr., Phillip Martinez, Tony Martinez Jr., Gerald Martinez, Pete Vigil and George Shaw. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her nieces and nephews.
