Amador F. Florez

Amador F. Florez – Age 68 a resident of Tierra Amarilla passed away on Monday, July 2nd, 2007. He was preceded in death by his father, Rafael Florez; mother, Alejandrina Florez; and a son, Florentino Florez. May their souls rest in peace. He was born on September 2, 1938 in Lumberton, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife, Fedelina Florez of Tierra Amarilla; daughter, Amy Florez Pratt and son-in-law, Val Pratt of Humansville, MO; sons: Vicente Florez and daughter-in-law, Rose Florez of La Puente, NM, Raul Florez and wife Bridgett of Chama, NM and Alex Florez of Tierra Amarilla; grandchildren: Hope Florez of Tierra Amarilla, Stephanie Hern of Cortez, CO, Freddie Florez of Tierra Amarilla, Stephen Hern of Cortez, CO, Candie Florez and husband Roland Life of Tierra Amarilla, Anna Hern of Cortez, CO, James Florez of Socorro, Alex E. Florez Jr. and Isaac Florez both of Tierra Amarilla, Kenneth and Arnold Flores both of La Puente, NM and Johnny Florez of Chama; great-grandchildren: Reina Florez of Tierra Amarilla, JJ Moya of Cortez, CO, Aeden Burres of Cortez, CO and Roland Jameson Life of Tierra Amarilla; and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Saturday, July 7th, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A second rosary will be recited on Sunday, July 8th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, July 9th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos. Burial will follow at the Ensenada Cemetery.
