May 27th, 1979 - November 4th, 2022

Biography

Aminta Trina Sandoval our beloved daughter and sister passed away peacefully the morning of November 4th 2022. She valiantly fought a rare cancer that took her life.

Born May 27, 1979, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She attended local schools and NM Highlands University where she obtained a masters degree in social work, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1999. After moving to Dallas Texas she worked for United Healthcare and Parkland Hospital as a social worker. Aminta, cared deeply about people and was an advocate for them, She also adored animals, rescuing and advocating for creatures that had no voice. After returning to New Mexico in 2019 she lived in Rociada NM, where she enjoyed hiking, gardening and spending time with her animals. She enjoyed hosting and entertaining friends and family who came to visit and loved showing them around the area she loved so much. Aminta had many opportunities to travel, some of the places she visited were: Ghana West Africa, Ireland, France, Mexico and throughout the United States. She made friends wherever she went.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 5, 1995. She was a member of the North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her strong faith, close friendship with her creator Jehovah God and a worldwide and local brotherhood of friends and family supported and sustained her through this illness. One of her favorite scriptures was Revelation 21:4, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

She is survived by her Mother, Teresa Rainey of Albuquerque. Father, Mario H. Sandoval , bonus Mother, Debbie Sandoval of Clarksdale. AZ.  Her sister Amber Sandoval of Albuquerque, Vincent Sanchez and her very special niece Elynn Sanchez. Annette Rainey of Konya, Turkey.  Bryon and Heidi Rainey of Albuquerque, NM. To Aminta's parents, sister and rest of the family..I Loved and adored her so very much! I worked with her at Garland health clinic. It was an instant connection we had. I would go into her office and spend the whole day in there talking to her. Aminta is the most caring and loving person I have ever known. I am deeply sadden to hear about her passing. This is so hard for me to put into words, because I miss her so very much. I take comfort that she is in peace.

To Aminta's parents and sister and the rest of her family. I had the pleasure of working with Aminta during her time at Parkland Health Clinic in Garland. She was funny, witty, smart and just and amazing person to be around. I truly valued her wisdom and friendship during the five years we worked together. We started on the same day and had an instant connection. She was always very kind and caring not only to the patients but to all of us. I am so saddened to hear about her passing. I will always remember her feisty spirit and am comforted knowing she is with the Heavenly Father.

We are heartbroken for Teresa, Bryon, Annette, Amber and the rest of the family in the loss of Aminta. We only saw Aminta a very few times, but since the first moment she captured our hearts with her humble but glowing spirit and soul, so down to earth, beautiful throughout and intelligent. So much that we are deeply saddened by her passing and can only say the world is certainly better by her, but less without her. That is purpose fulfilled in Jehovah God, inspiration for us all.

There are so many wonderful memories of Aminta. We first meet her when she was about 9 yr. old. She was such a cutie. She said"My name is Aminta Sandoval but you can call me Miss Piggy". I really admired her. She was very talented and helpful. I know all of us will miss her sweet smile and her giggle. My prayer are with Teresa and her family. I hope you get the love and comfort you all need during this very difficult time.

I know God has plans for Aminta and we will see her again. Due to time and distance, I didn’t get to know her well but so happy she is my grand-niece. I am awed by her accomplishments!!
Having lost my 11-yo daughter and her father in a car accident in 1968, I know the pain her family and friends are enduring and can only say give time time! For the pain and tears to diminish.
God’s blessings to you all.

Amenta was the funnest pioneer partner that I have ever had the privilege of working with in service. She always brought joy to the car group and I am sure to Jehovah as well. Her memory will always be embedded in my brain. My family and I enjoyed the time we went camping with her and the times we just hung out with her.
I pray that I will be there when she is resurrected. I want to see her face when she meets Samson. One time when she was asked who she would like to meet in paradise she said Samson and she told all the sisters, "I dibs him first just so you don't get any ideas, he is mine". We all laughed, so that's why I have to see her face when she meets Samson.
It truly was our pleasure to have had her in our lives.
Teresa, you are a great mother! Thank you for sharing her with all of us.

Aminta was a bright, beautiful sweet person to grow up with. One time she was brave enough to take me on a test drive when I was learning how to drive. And somehow we ended up going the wrong way on the off ramp. Although I could tell she was scared like always she calmly got me out of it. Loved her very much! I can't wait to see her in paradise taking care of the animals

We met Aminta when she was still a teenager, even then, we could see that she was a great blessing to her family and a beautiful gift to everyone who had the privilege to be in her company. At times, we feel crushed over the loss of our dear sister, and the only thing that comforts us is that Jehovah God, our Creator, who cannot lie, has promised that he will resurrect our loved ones and He even had those promises put down in writing in His book the Holy Bible. It comforts us to know that we will enjoy her company when she is healthy and young again!

We have beautiful memories with our sweet Aminta. The time she extended a warm invitation to come and stay at her Ranchito. We joined her for field ministry and meetings. On our way to, we'd listen to Original Songs. Aminta loved the song: With Jehovah, We Are One. Especially the ( chorus)
With love in ev'ry little thing we do.
Show love as we spread the good news, And feel the love of the brotherhood. Though we stand out as different, With Jehovah, we are one.

Please accept our most deep sympathy.
Sincerely, Javier & Cynthia

Sweet, funny and talented. Being able to help around the family and service Jehovah. Being adopted to the Rainey family. So maniú memories. Aminta playing the piano perfectly after her saying “I don’t know how I forgot” and then played so some smoothly. Too many memories to write for now. I will miss her. But the best time is soon to come, where more memories will be made.

I enjoyed reading Keira Smith’s message about my beautiful niece Aminta. After her living and working in Dallas she gravitated back to Rociada where she grew up and enjoyed the great outdoors with the beauty of mountains, fields of flowers, animals, wild birds that she fed continuously plus all her pets. She inspired all our family with the love and laughter she shared with others. I will miss her beautiful personality and the Spanish she spoke so beautifully. We will all miss her and will forever be in our memory and hearts.

Aminta brought light to my life she was so fun to be around. You could always count on her to make you laugh on your cloudy days. She helped me grow my faith in Jehovah. And in turn Jehovah gave me a best friend. Not just any friend but a fun friend. The type of friend that would dance around and just have a good time with you. How many of us have those good memories with her. She is somebody who will never be forgotten and I can just imagine the resurrection party we are going to have for her. So until that day I'm just going to say that Aminta is at the ranch with the girls (Trixy and Skeeter). Yes she's on the land that she loved so much surrounded By the beautiful nature that Jehovah created. That's what brought Aminta happiness She loved anything to do with nature and animals. So now may she rest and tell Jehovah says Aminta it's time to wake up. And she won't even know that she fell asleep. I love you Aminta so much. And I will be there when you wake up. ⏰️

Beautiful Aminta came into my life by fate. She had rescued a horse during the Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak fire this summer and took to social media asking for help with a permanent home for the horse. A third party connected us. As total strangers, my best friend and I showed up to look at him. Aminta explained her situation. I gave her a challenge: If she could have the correct paperwork in order within 24 hours, I would come back and take him. And boy did she conquer that challenge. Everyone, meet Phoenix. Phoenix has become a permanent part of our family and Aminta, a permanent light in our hearts. I wasn’t given near as much time to know her as most people but I am beyond blessed to have met her, visited with her over the last few months and sharing a wild passion for animal rescue. The world was a much better place because of her presence here and our family is grateful for her, her rescue of Phoenix and for the sunshine and inspiration she brought to our lives. What a blessing it is that she entrusted him into our care. Phoenix and our family will continue to honor Aminta’s life and legacy and we will continue to pray for peace and comfort for Teresa and family.
