Andy Peña

Andy Peña age 78 of Santa Fe, NM passed away on Palm Sunday April 9th, 2017. He was born October 15, 1938 in Galisteo, NM to Pedro and Ursula Peña. He married Mary “Grace” Peña September 26th, 1961 in Santa Fe, NM.
He is preceded in death by his father Pedro Peña; Mother Ursula Peña; Brothers Rufino Peña and Joe Dan Peña.
He is survived by his loving spouse Grace Peña; Daughters: Julie Ortega (Dan) and Terrie Peña (John Corey), Son: Andrew Peña all of Santa Fe, NM. Grandchildren: Robert Estrada, Eric Ortega, Andrea Ortega and Marisa Peña all of Santa Fe, NM. Great Grandchildren: Justine Estrada, Santino Estrada and Lily Estrada all of Santa Fe, NM. Brothers: Clyde Peña (Mary) and Albert Pena. Sisters: Stella Ortiz (Roberto) and Fabiola Peña.
Andy Peña was born in Galisteo and lived in Santa Fe, NM. He worked for Santa Fe Public Schools, Painter for homes and remodeling. He loved his Grandchildren with great joy; he also loved feeding all the birds in Santa Fe, loved animals especially horses and the rodeo. He helped people who were less fortunate by buying them food. He was also proud to have been a part of the De Vargas Staff. He was a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.
A Rosary will be recited on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 7:00p.m. at Santa Maria de la Paz. A Mass of a Christian Burial will take place at 11:00a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Santa Maria de la Paz with burial to follow at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Robert Estrada, John Corey, Daniel Ortega, Paul Cordova, Michael Peña and Sam Martinez.
Honorary Pallbearers: Eric Ortega and Mike Cordova.
