Antonio Martinez

Mr. Antonio B. Martinez, age 60 of Rio En Medio, NM. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 1, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents Marcelino and Maria Martinez, his son Tony, Jr., daughter Cecilia Martinez and Mother in Law Nelly Boling, may they rest in peace. Mr. Martinez was employed for Garcia Construction for over 35 years, and also worked every Saturday for over 40 years for Ms. Evelyn Krems of California, who also resided in White Rock. He had a great work ethic, and providing for his family was vital. He loved his children and adored his wife Frances, and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife Frances, son Tony G. Martinez, Jr. Of Espanola; daughters: Cecila L. Salazar and husband Robert K. of Santa Fe, Francelia M. Martinez and boyfriend David Leyba of Santa Fe and Maria Romero of Santa Fe; 4 dear grandchildren: Leticia Johnson, Lorenzo Johnson, Stephanie Rivera and Priscilla Salazar; brothers and sisters include: Inez Martinez and wife Pita of Rio En Medio, Josie Perea of Santa Fe, Lorrie Martinez of Rio En Medio, Greg Martinez and wife Rita of Rio En Medio and Frank Martinez and wife Rebecca of Rio En Medio; 8 nephews and 1 niece and numerous great-nephews and nieces and other family members. Recitation of the Rosary was recited at 7:00 pm. on Monday November 5th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Santa Fe, The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday morning at the same church, with internment following at Rosario Cemetery.
