Donald Augustin Hector Martinez, born September 17, 1946, ascended into heaven peacefully at home on May 22, 2021. He enjoyed his life to the fullest, loved watching his westerns, going to concerts, eating out, family gatherings and socializing. He especially enjoyed taking long rides and watching the beautiful sensets. He also, had lots of fun in the mountains, hunting, skiing, and riding four wheeler ATVs with his brother John and nephew Juanito. He was proceeded in death by his parents Augustin and Teresita Martinez, and his brother David. He is proceeded in life by his sister MaryBeth(Pete), Martín Geraldo(Gloria) and John(Chenee). He had many nieces and nephews Andrea; Reina, Martín, and Angela Martinez; Tómas and Esteban Martinez, Jeff and Patricia Diaz; and Juanito Martinez. And many grand nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be held Monday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola, 305 Calle Salazar.
Mass will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, NM at 11 a.m. on Tuesday June 22, 2021. Burial for Mr. Martinez will follow at 12:45 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Donald, you were such a great primo. Always remembering who I was. You had a tender soul, and you were a great person. I love you forever. Give everyone a big hug for me, especially my brother Sammy! Thanks Juan for always being there for Donald. Love and miss you all.
