Mr. Ben's favorite saying for any math solution depended on "how the spirit moves you." Mr. Ben moved so many students to master the great problems in math. The bottom line was that there are many ways to solve the same problem, and so is life. Roy, Mark and Paula, my deepest sympathy.

You never forgot the Garduno Family, Mr. Ben. I had you in college at Northern in 1990, and then is when I knew for sure, that you were the greatest teacher! My deepest condolences to the Trujillo family.

My condolences to the family. We will all miss Mr Ben very much. I have to say that he taught me so much growing up and he made me laugh at the same time. He also welcome me into his home and treated me like one of his own children. I will always remember him.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news and hope Mr. Ben is in a happy place. I clearly remember his face and the times we had with him as our High School Math teacher and laugh each time i think about his serious side and his sense of humor. My deepest sympathy to his family...

To the Trujillo Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Mr. Ben was definitely the best math teacher I ever had, and so many were lucky to have him at Pojoaque High. Many of my friends, who went on to engineering in college still reminisce of times in his classroom. He will always be remembered.

Roy & Family -- so sorry to hear about Mr. Ben. He was without a doubt one of the best teachers I ever had, maybe even THE best. I can still see him speedily solving those calculus problems on the chalkboard and then turning around with that one-of-a-kind smile. He will always be remembered fondly.

It is sad to think of Mr. Ben being gone. He was a wonderful man. Pojoaque High School would not have been the same without him. Even though it has bee 30+ years, his influence in the lives of his students still lives on. I think of you, his family, and know that he leaves a hole. I will always appreciate his integrity and kindness. Sincerely, Lori Hughes Bryan
