I just learned of coach Mef's passing last month. I was so sad to hear of her passing. She was instrumental in my life when I was in high school. Thank you coach Mef for all your hard work, now you have so many other angels to coach, and mentor. I am forever grateful.

Dan, It has been so hard for Us to learn of Bertie’s passing on just this past February. Don and I loved her so much, truly like a sister to us both, and she was a unique and marvelous friend to Don when they were in college. Bertie made the world a better place just by being alive and did so much just by caring about people the way she did. Don and I send you our heartfelt condolences on your deeply sad and sudden loss of your precious wife of so many years. I thank God for the gift of Bertie and her warm and caring ways of the heart and look forward to the time to come when we will be with her again in that great unbroken circle in the sky.

Mef, you touched so many lives....when we were in school taking classes from you, get advice to help us plot our futures....to now as we are adults who take with us your smile, your commitment, your feistiness, and your belief that there is good in all everyday. Thank you for all you did for so many Santa Feans:) You will be missed by so many whose lives you touched.
Rest in peace my friend and thank you for your friendship.

What a wonderful long life your loved one had, Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. Special mightiness indeed. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.
