On this Feast of All Saints Day, we are blessed with a new saint in heaven, who can watch over us and intercede for us in prayer to our dear Lord. Dear Carlos, you were such a loving Dad and generous, caring man. The Romero family is very grateful to you for all you have done for us. Thank you for sharing your home and being such a kind and caring neighbor. I will forever be grateful to you for your sound and wise business advice on real estate matters.
Dear Chaz, thank you for sharing your Dad with my children. Jennifer, Jeremy, Jason, and Joseph have many special memories of time spent with you and your dear Dad. I've had the privilege of Carlos as a friend for over twenty years. We did business together, worried about child-rearing issues together, I corrected his grammar, and he always made me laugh. Carlos was a bright and very courageous spirit, filled with a sense of justice and rightness, not afraid to venture into new territory, rooted in a sense of what was proper and fair. His humor marked him among all men, but his kindness is what will have the most lasting effect among us who remain to reflect on his life and laughter.

I can't believe that this is really happening. It just doesn't seem real. I thank you for everything that you you ever did for me and Ariana. This is so sad and unrealistic for me as I sit here and read all the conversations thru email you and I shared just last week!! I have known you for 20 years and every day there is something that reminds me of at least one of our good times. Whether it be going to the land of lowriders (Espanola) as you called it, or when you use to visit me at work and tell my receptionist you were my parole officer and I needed to go for a urine test!!! Or that you were there to repo my car!! I remember your laugh, your smile, the wiggles of your eyebrows!! Thanks for sharing stories with my kids that they will probably use against me as they get older!! You hold a very special place in my heart and I feel very blessed to have known you and have shared the close relationship that we did. I still owe you pizza and cokes for lunch!! I know you will watch over us all, as you always did. You are loved and will be missed more than you imagine. Thank you Carlos for always being YOU, and accepting so many of US!! God bless you and guide you in your new life!! I know you will make the best of it!!

It's hard to believe that we are at this age when life is starting to take place. I remember the days seeing you walk into the classrooms and all the girls would laugh becuase you would tease them and all the boys would jump up and down becuase you were such a role model to them. Carlos was my very good friend. I first met Carlos when he hired me to do title seach for Native Properties, when then located in Cuyamungue. He was a blast to work for; we always had fun and laughed a lot. Everytime we got together or communicated I could count on laughing a lot. He was very smart and willing to tackle any issue.
