Carlos Terrazas Soto, 65, a resident of Taos, New Mexico, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 6, 2024. Carlos was born on September 30, 1958, in Santa Ana, Durango, MX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Lucia Terrazas, siblings Noel, Artemio, and Elena Terrazas.
He is survived by his son Jaime Terrazas (Reina) of El Paso, Texas. His two grandchildren, Andres and Emiliano, and his siblings, Pedro Terrazas (Chayo), Juan Terrazas (Berna), Jose Terrazas (Marisol), Martha Perez (Ignacio), Cuca Terrazas Ponce (Salomon), and Eva Terrazas (Waldo), and many loving nephews and nieces.
He loved telling jokes and knew the right thing to say to put a smile on your face. Carlos will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at Rivera's Funeral Home, 417 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM, on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 10:30am. The family would like to invite family and friends for a Celebration of Life after immediately following.
