Zelda,
I was sorry to hear about your Mom. Gloria called me that Glenda, Nadine, and herself were going to attend the service this evening. I am sorry that I was not able to join you in this time of grief. I know you will be surrounded by many friends and family but I also want to assure you that you will be in my thoughts and prayers even if I am not there. Call me when you feel up to it....I will pray unto the Lord for you and your entire family.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my good friend Carmen. Carmen and I spent many years working together at Los Alamos, TA-53 (Meson). I will never forget the many lunch hours we spent together, her polite wit and the laughter she brought to me and to so many others at work. I was lucky enough to have a visit and conversation with her earlier this year which I will forever cherish along with her special friendship. May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. I know that Carmen cherished all her children. My prayers are with all of you.
