Carmen Sedillo

Carmen Sedillo, 73 of Santa Fe, NM passed away on January 27, 2018, she was born on
December 16, 1944 to Frank and Teresita Sedillo.
She is preceded in death by her father Frank Sedillo, mother Teresita Sedillo, brother Frank Sedillo Jr.
She is survived by her sisters Mary Lou Sedillo, Josie (Robert) Ortiz, nephews Donald Chavez, Michael Chavez, Robert (Sandra) Ortiz, Rueben (Stephanie) Ortiz, Ralph Ortiz, Pat (Lynne) Ortiz, Fred (Diane) Ortiz, Anthony Ortiz, niece Amy (John) Danforth and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Carmen was well known in the community with her various jobs including ironing for people, babysitting, and volunteering at Sr. Centers. Carmen was incredibly talented in making afghans which she in turn gifted to so many friends and family. She had a great love for children and whenever given the opportunity would spend time holding them and sharing that love. Her smile and laugh will be greatly missed. Carmen leaves us with a lifetime of wonderful memories, too many to count but each one brings us a smile.
Services will be on February 9, 2018 at 10:00am at Altitude Youth, formerly New Life Family Fellowship located at 1612 Pacheco St. Santa Fe, NM 87505 with internment to follow at Rosario Cemetery and a reception to follow at Altitude Youth Hall.
