Carolyn Smith

Carolyn G. Smith died peacefully after a briefly fighting an illness on March 23, 2010, in Santa Fe, NM.

Lynn was born in Chicago on June 1, 1947. The daughter of Adrienne and William Grannis, she was raised in Madison, WI, and then attended Chicago Academy of Fine Arts before marrying Michael Smith of Madison and moving to Houston, TX. She greatly enjoyed living in Key West, FL for fifteen years before moving to Santa Fe. Lynn was a charter member of the Houston City Club and Country Place Golf Club. She enjoyed travel, was a self taught gourmet cook, a truly gifted artist, and loving, devoted mother and grandmother who always put others need above her own.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brothers, William and Anthony Grannis; her sons Dustin (Lori), and Sean (Wendy) and her four grandchildren, Ahnan, Wilona, Sienna, and Brynn.

As per her wishes, there were no services.
