Christobal E. Griego

Biography

Mr. Christobal E. Griego, age 86 of La Madera, NM. died peacefully on Saturday February 9, 2013 in Albuquerque.

Mr. Griego honorably served his country in the United States Army, returning home to his beloved New Mexico, and entered into the union of marriage for over 65 years with his beloved wife Flora M Griego. He enjoyed hunting, fishing & camping, boxing, and supporting female professional boxer Holly Holmes.

He was preceded in death by his dear wife Flora, and son Kenny Griego. He is survived by his children; Henry Griego (Tina) of La Madera, Linda Garcia of Albuquerque, James Griego (Pat) of Chili', and Clifford Griego (Pauline) of Espanola, brothers Victor and Saturnino Griego of Utah, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and special niece Eppie Ruiz (Roy), as well as other dear relatives and friends.

A rosary was rectied on February 14, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on February 15, 2013. Both services were held at La Iglesia De Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Madera. Interment followed at the La Madera Catholic Cemetery.
