I used to give "La Mera Mera" a ride to our Union Protectiva Femenina meetings. Loved hearing the stories she shared about Agua Fria and of her husband and kids. I'll always remember Connie dressed to the "9s" and smiling - I don't think she ever met a stranger. With COVID the U.P. is not saying the Rosary for our Hermanas, but I do want to give Connie our send off: Descansa en Paz Hermana, Descansa en Paz Hermana, Descansa en Paz Hermana. xoxoxoxo

What a wonderful lady. She lived a very full life and spread joy and faith to everyone. She also had a good sense of humor. She told me once that she had 12 kids in a row until the plumbing broke down. Blessings to the Prada family especially to Nena who was a special person in my life for over eight years.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Connie. I always told her she was my second Mama. She loved her jewelry and I made her so many pieces and also repaired anything that broke. I loaned her my fiesta dresses because she just loved to use them to go to her processions and festivities. I loved her dearly and will miss her. You were blessed to have such a beautiful mother. Hugs to all of you.
