Debbie Ann Sieters Chavez

Debbie Sieters-Chavez, age 58, a resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away due to heart failure.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James B. and Helen B. Sieters, maternal grandparents Adolfo and Ramoncita Barela.

Debbie is survived by her son, Michael Chavez (Gloria), daughter, Angel Ramos (William). Her sisters Lori Sieters, Gloria Tafoya (Gerald), Lynda Petros (Joe) and her six grandchildren, Jasmine, Giselle, Mike, Samantha, and Jonathan.

Debbie held various sales clerk positions. She was disabled for many years of her life, but was a dedicated caretaker to our Mother and also to her children, grandchildren and our children.

Debbie was blessed with loving children and grandchildren; caring sisters, especially Lori, who was her caretaker during the hardest years; wonderful grandparents, parents, sisters, brothers in law, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and nieces, friends, that all loved her and she loved unconditionally. This was a very unique trait that makes her a unique human being in her lifetime.

Debbie holds a special place in all our hearts and has left us so many loving and very funny memories. She will not be forgotten. Love you and miss you now and forever.

Honorary pallbearers: Aunt Francis Barela, Aunt Marylou Gallegos, Aunt Gloria Payne.

A Rosary was recited before mass at 10:00 am at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Funeral mass followed also at St. Anne's in Santa Fe, NM on Monday, July 14, 2014.
